Fasting: Our First Week

Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

ROMANS 12:2

~*~*~*~*~*~

Those who are fasting with us are invited to give up their favorite social media site this week.

Intention: our vocations, whether we're discerning or have already found them.

Please feel free to make personal adjustments as are necessary!

Also, with the beginning of Advent comes the Saint Andrew Christmas novena!  It's one of my favorite devotions of the year and is certainly my favorite Advent devotion; please share your prayer requests and I'm happy to include them in my novena intentions!

How can we pray for YOU this week?

  2. I am looking forward to joining in on this. It will be good to do especially throughout the season of Advent! I'm new to your blog, but I am really enjoying it so far and I'm looking forward to reading more! The Saint Andrew Christmas novena is one of my favorites as well. Please pray that I will know what to do after graduation from college. Thanks!

  3. I don't think I've ever commented here, but I will definitely be joining in on this! I would love your prayers! While I believe I'm called to marriage, the guy I thought I'd marry recently got engaged to someone else...sooo, I'm struggling a little :) Please pray that I find peace in accepting God's will for my life, whatever that may be. Praying for you ladies, as well.

Thank you for stopping by CYW! Comments are always welcome, and we appreciate your thoughts. CYW is meant to be a community of like-minded Catholic women, so hearing from our readers always make us smile.

Disagreement is permitted, but we require that some sort of name be attached to the comment rather than simply leaving it anonymous and that charity always be maintained. And, though criticism of a post is acceptable, any derisive remarks about the personal lives of the contributors are considered unacceptable.

Comments are moderated for the sake of our young readers.

God bless!
