How to be a beautiful woman

Forget for a minute about losing weight, pretty dresses, perfect hair, and white teeth. Or, as St. Peter might put it, forget about "the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing." Beauty doesn't require the expense of gym memberships and brand name dresses. If you're really interested in being a truly beautiful woman, the fact is that you can start right here and right now, with no cost and no equipment.

Smile. The instant beautifier. A heart that is truly radiant with the joy of Christ is the most beautiful thing in the world, and a smile full of that love is better than any artificial substitute. Nothing in the world looks more beautiful than a woman with a loving smile. Practice as recommended by the apostolate of smiling.

Listen. A truly beautiful woman doesn't spend all of a conversation talking. She listens, because she cares about what others have to say. She's truly interested in their lives and wants to be there for them.

Share. The beautiful woman isn't too silent, though. One of her beauties is her open heart, and she's willing to share that heart with those who need the encouragement.

Pray. St. Peter recommends that we adorn ourselves "with the imperishable jewel of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious." The only way to get that is through asking God... through prayer.

Speak. Speak lovingly to everyone. Speak lovingly about everyone. Gossip is ugly, and a woman who gossips is one of the ugliest things imaginable. Don't be hesitant to speak good. Tell your friends they're beautiful. Praise their talent. Have kind words for everyone.

Beauty without expense. The only possible loss is some of your own vices. The gain is the beauty that is truly timeless.

  2. You have to take care of yourelf but your outside should always match your inside. Its all about looking good and having confidence! I learned that the hard way.
